As Construction Robotics expanded its second-generation machine fleet across global markets, limited visibility into machine usage, productivity and machine health risked slowing customer support, operational response and engineering decision-making. To maintain a competitive edge, ODOS deployed a fully integrated, real-time CAN-to-cloud platform, giving teams continuous visibility into machine performance across live customer environments worldwide. The result was faster support response, improved operational planning and data-driven performance optimisation across more than 100 connected machines, transforming fleet monitoring from fragmented, reactive reporting into proactive operational intelligence.

With machines deployed globally (including in the Middle East, Australia and the UK), the company wanted a reliable way to monitor usage, productivity, and machine health remotely.
To support this goal, Construction Robotics required a robust, high-frequency data solution capable of delivering real-time visibility into machine operations, enabling remote performance analysis, proactive customer support, and improved operational outcomes.

With machines deployed globally, with multiple customers the company needed a centralised solution. Monitoring performance and supporting customers across multiple regions became increasingly complex without reliable, real-time access to operational data.
Implementing a robust data solution introduced technical challenges. Ensuring secure and reliable data transmission across varying network conditions and international deployments required a solution capable of operating consistently in diverse and often demanding environments.
ODOS partnered with Construction Robotics to develop a fully integrated, cloud-based data logging solution for its second-generation machines. The objective was to move from fragmented, low-frequency data to a consistent, high-frequency, real-time view of performance across its global fleet.
At the core of the solution were ODOS’ cloud-connected data loggers, featuring built-in cellular connectivity. These devices were deployed directly onto the machines to capture key operational data, including utilisation, production metrics, and maintenance events. Data was securely streamed in real time to the ODOS cloud platform, where it was processed and made accessible through custom dashboards.
This approach removed the complexity typically associated with integrating separate hardware, connectivity, and software components. Instead, Construction Robotics benefited from a single, cohesive platform, designed to operate reliably across international deployments and varying network conditions, providing immediate, actionable insight into machine performance.
ODOS implemented the solution across Construction Robotics’ global fleet, ensuring reliable data capture and transmission across a wide range of real-world operating environments. The system was designed to perform consistently across multiple regions, including areas with variable or limited connectivity, while maintaining high levels of data integrity and availability.
Following initial deployment, ODOS worked closely with the Construction Robotics team to validate performance across a subset of machines operating in different geographies. This phased approach ensured the solution met the required standards for reliability, scalability, and ease of use before broader rollout.
Once deployed, the platform provided immediate access to real-time machine data through intuitive dashboards, enabling the team to monitor utilisation, and identify trends.

“ODOS provided us with a solution that transformed the way we monitor and manage our machinery globally. The real-time data, dashboards, and alerts made a huge difference in operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. Having this insight allows us to proactively support our clients and make data-driven decisions that improve performance across all our machines.”
